Accessibility
Our commitment to making this website and our practice usable by everyone - what we have done, what we know is unfinished, and how to tell us when something does not work.
Our commitment
Care that is hard to reach is not care. We want this website and our physical practice to be usable by people with disabilities, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing obligation rather than a one-time audit.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act in most healthcare settings.
What that means on this site
- Every text colour combination is tested to meet or exceed the required contrast ratio - 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large headings.
- The site can be navigated by keyboard alone, and the focused element is always visibly outlined.
- Images carry text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers rather than described.
- Headings follow a logical order so screen-reader users can navigate by structure.
- Form fields have visible, programmatically associated labels, and errors are announced rather than shown by colour alone.
- Motion respects the operating-system "reduce motion" setting: scrolling tickers stop and fade-in animations resolve instantly.
- Text reflows without loss of content when enlarged to 200%.
What is not finished
We would rather name gaps than claim we have none.
[CONFIRM AND UPDATE BEFORE LAUNCH: this section should list the real outstanding items from an accessibility audit. Common ones for a site like this include third-party booking widgets that we do not control, video content awaiting captions, and PDF forms that are not yet tagged for screen readers.]
Third-party tools
Some parts of this site rely on services we do not build - our booking platform and any embedded maps or reviews. We choose vendors with accessibility in mind but cannot guarantee their conformance. If a third-party tool blocks you from booking, call us at 832-380-4754 and we will book you directly.
Accessibility at the practice
[CONFIRM the physical details before publishing: step-free entry, accessible parking spaces, door widths, accessible restroom, treatment chairs and tables with adjustable height, and whether a companion can accompany you into the treatment room.]
If you need an accommodation for your visit - a sign language interpreter, written materials in large print, extra time, or a quieter appointment slot - tell us when you book and we will arrange it at no cost to you.
Tell us when something does not work
This is the most useful thing you can do for us. If any part of this site or our practice is difficult to use, contact virtuexbloom@gmail.com or call 832-380-4754. Please tell us the page or the situation and what happened, and we will respond within [RESPONSE COMMITMENT, e.g. three business days] and tell you what we intend to do about it.
If you need information from this site in another format - read aloud, emailed as plain text, or printed large - ask, and we will provide it.
Questions about this policy? Call the practice or raise it at your consultation - whichever is easier.

Your consultation is $100
An hour, an honest assessment, and a written plan. Nothing is performed the same day unless you ask for it.
